Do you have a large number of products that you want to submit to mindful MATERIALS but you don't have all of the data fields complete in 3E Exchange yet?

The good news is that you have the option to import this data in the system by matching product identifiers (name, description, plant and supplier) with summary data (VOC content, product descriptions, sku numbers, carbon data, etc.). This will save you time as you prepare to publish your data.

Where to import?

  1. Go to the "Import Data" tab

  2. Click on "Import Data" at the top of the screen

  3. Find the "Summary Data Library" option

How to prepare your data:

  • Download the template or utilize the MM specific spreadsheet below

  • Use the key on the fourth tab to determine which 3E Exchange fields you want to add to your products in 3E Exchange. The yellow names from the key will go into the grey headers of the template and the fields below them belong in the orange cells of the template.

  • Make sure the blue fields (unique product identifiers) are filled out with the pertaining product information in your 3E Exchange so that it matches up correctly during import. This example below is in the template you can download below.

  • Add all of your products and their summary data to the spreadsheet, save the spreadsheet, and import within 3E Exchange.

Alternatively, if all the data is the same for multiple products, you can use the "assign summary data and files to multiple products" feature within 3E Exchange to update mM information in bulk. learn more below:
