Introduction

This release introduces significant enhancements aimed at elevating our compliance capabilities, streamlining the Conflict Mineral Reporting, refining the SDS machine learning tool, increasing DPP applications and bolstering security measures for user authentication.

What's New?

1. OKTA Login Integration

  • Enhanced Security: For enhanced security, we have integrated OKTA for user authentication, ensuring a more secure and streamlined login experience for all users across 3E platforms.

  • Impact: Even though it will look different your existing login email address is still your username and your existing password will stay the same.

2. Enhanced SDS Machine Learning Tool and Data Scraper

  • New Data fields and Enrichment: When importing an SDS, 3E Exchange will now scrape a more extensive range of data points including Sections 1,2,3,4,5,7,8 and 9. You'll also be provided a Quality Assurance confidence rating for each section of the SDS. This makes evaluating the extracted data much easier.

  • Availability: This advanced SDS scraper is accessible to both suppliers completing surveys and users importing data into their libraries, enhancing data accuracy and usability.

  • New "SDS" Section In Digital Product Passports

3. New standard regulations

  • Compliance: Users will now be able to screen their Libraries against these four new regulations. If you don't have BOM data to screen against, send surveys to your suppliers or add response data to determine compliance.

  • Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)

  • EU REACH - CoRAP

  • EU REACH - Registration

  • EU CLP_REACH PBT Assessment

4. Support for RMI's Conflict Mineral Reporting Template

  • Compliance: Our platform now supports RMI's Conflict Mineral Reporting template, enabling users to import standard CMR templates. If you have a completed Excel version, 3E Exchange can automatically extract data from the spreadsheet and populate the relevant fields.

  • Additionally, users can track against smelter lists and generate comprehensive smelter reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Find the new template by 'Adding response data' to the Conflict Mineral tab in your Product or Material record.

5. Import an Existing Passport to complete a survey

  • This update increases the usability of DPPs, creating an even more streamlined supplier experience.

  • Suppliers can now select to import one of their existing Digital Product Passports to directly populate answers to a survey request. If any data is missing from the existing passport, they can complete those answers and the DPP will be updated.
