Introduction

Approximately a year ago, Exchange (formerly Toxnot) joined forces with 3E, adding to a suite of products aimed at making the world a safer place. As a leader in regulatory expertise and research, 3E boasts teams of chemists, toxicologists, attorneys, researchers, and experts. With our latest release, we are proud to announce a significant milestone in our journey โ€“ the integration of regulatory, chemical, and hazard data from 3E's superior datasets into Exchange.

All Exchange users can now benefit from expanded and enhanced data coverage, leveraging the wealth of regulatory expertise offered by 3E.

This represents a substantial value addition for all Exchange users and all accounts.

This represents a substantial value addition for all Exchange users and all accounts. Utilize this trusted data source to inform critical business decisions, ensure legal compliance, identify risks and hazards, explore new markets, and differentiate your products.

3E Regulatory Data is Live in Exchange

Exchange now sources all regulatory lists and substances from 3E's comprehensive regulatory database, resulting in:

  • 200+ regulations and lists (2x increase)

  • 3 million+ list entries (6x increase)

  • 300k substances in the chemical database with hazards (3x increase)

  • Find full list of lists on this page.

A full refresh of every list and substance regulatory data and chemical hazard data has been conducted across our databases. Minor differences compared to previously available lists and substances may include slight variations in chemical names, list names, or updated CASRNs for a list.

How Will Users Be Impacted?

In addition to receiving greater value and access to higher quality data, users may notice some notable impacts within their accounts:

  • Changes in compliance statuses due to updates in lists, reflecting a positive progression fueled by higher quality data sources.

  • The substance data changes feature will not be available for this refresh, as we've conducted a comprehensive update across all records, rendering the feature redundant.

Conclusion

While Exchange now integrates 3Eโ€™s regulatory and chemical data into your business workflows, remember that our experts are always available to provide guidance or interpretations if needed. Reach out to your Account Manager or designated 3E contact for further assistance.

This integration of the highest quality regulatory research and data resources into our products marks an important milestone in our roadmap. However, we remain committed to ongoing innovation, promising new features, enhancements, and increased value on Exchange as we continue to be your trusted partner.
