The PFAS regulations library provides clarity on your compliance requirements and helps you identify which substances are regulated.
Feature Description
Navigate to "U.S. PFAS Regulations" in the main menu within Exchange.
Search for PFAS regulations by jurisdiction, keyword, or update date.
Within a regulation view, see overview documentation, regulatory texts, ingredient lists, and other supporting documents.
Perform searches within the regulation to find items like existence of a specific ingredient on the list.
Speak to our experts if you need further direction or clarity.
Currently this is limited to PFAS regulations in the United States with potential expansion in the future.

Expanded Digital Product Passport Library
Digital product passports are essential for enhancing supply chain data collection on 3E Exchange. By expanding the number of passports in our library, we can greatly benefit users, potentially simplifying their data collection processes. 3E already manages an extensive SDS library for other products. Integrating this SDS data into 3E Exchange will provide users with high-quality data sources to optimize their workflows. Starting in September we will be greatly increasing the volume of passports with over 1.2 million new records from over 50,000 different suppliers added before month's end.
This is made available to all accounts on Exchange, including Free and Supplier accounts, further empowering suppliers in their data collection efforts upstream in your supply chain.
Feature Description
Over 1.2M new digital product passport records will be available in the passport library as part of this release. Sourced from over 50,000 different suppliers, these new passports will be populated progressively throughout September.
Search these and other published digital product passports in the passport library and add them to your account for use.
Primarily filled with indexed SDS content, these new passports will typically contain data from sections 1-9 of the SDS, plus other critical data points.
Ingredient data can be imported into the Bill of Materials (BOM) view for ingredient screening against hundreds of 3E regulations and to complete compliance management tasks.
The supply chain data in these passports are available to everyone on 3E Exchange, including Free and supplier accounts.

Improved SDS Storage Capabilities
All of your product and material in records in Exchange can now store multiple SDSs per record. Now collect, import, or instantly download from the Passport Library any number of versions of SDSs pertaining to your products and materials to be available in one place. SDSs contain valuable information, including ingredient information that can assist in assessing compliance. Exchange allows leveraging the ingredient data from multiple SDSs by adding respective ingredients to the BOM view for easy analysis.
Feature Description
Open any product or material record and navigate to the "Safety Data Sheet" summary data page on the menu to access any SDSs related to that record.
All related SDSs will be visible in order by revision date. Click to toggle between SDSs to view relevant data within each SDS respectively.
Open and view the original SDS images
Select an SDS to add its respective ingredients to automatically appear in the BOM view.
Collect, import, and add up to 100 SDSs to any record.
